About Drawing paper
Drawing Paper is a newspaper based gallery of sorts concerned solely with contemporary drawing practice. Published and designed in Liverpool UK by Mike Carney and Jon Barraclough, it's an independent, not for profit project which we receive no funding or corporate support for. It's only made possible by each artist contributing an equal fee towards their page. When 20 artists contribute it covers the printing costs only. Contributors tend to be a mixture of emerging to mid career and established artists. We have no prejudices – it's all about showcasing a wide variety of quality drawings.

It's a free publication, distributed around galleries and studios largely in Liverpool and Manchester although copies have been sent to drawing focused establishments all over the world and the blog features a good range of international work.
